Highlights ouzoud day trip
Your day trip from Marrakech to Ouzoud waterfalls will start with a 3-hour drive north of Marrakech crossing the plains of Tadla dotted with hundreds of olive groves.
After a coffee break and toilet in the village, you continue through several small towns and villages with a real sense of rural life. You may be forgiven for thinking that you have traveled in the past while some rural villagers conquered their daily lives.
On your arrival at the village of Ouzoud, start your hike down to the sources while admiring the splendid view of the waterfalls of Ouzoud, 110 m high, against a backdrop of a permanent rainbow.
En route, local Barbary monkeys who expect nuts will greet you all along the way!
Local cafes are available next to the stream for a light lunch and relax before heading to the starting point
Your day trip to the Ouzoud waterfalls will end late in the afternoon in Marrakech by returning to your hotel or the nearest accessible point to your Riad.
For your trip to the Falls, You should bring sunscreen, a camera and some change of clothes if you want to take a dip in some of the pools at the bottom of the falls. But one thing is certain: you will not forget this excursion among the immense natural waterfalls, the macaques of Barbary and the rural villages which seem stuck in the middle time.
